Refunds, Makeup & Weather

Refunds and makeup's are not given unless an entire class must be canceled due to weather.  Please understand that instructors are hired and classes filled based on registrations.

If a class is canceled it will be rescheduled for the following Friday at your usual time.  If a class must quit early because of weather, the time will be made up by adding minutes to succeeding classes, if possible (there is a 15 minute break between classes).

Classes will be held during light rain, but if it is raining hard AT THE POOL, or if it is lightning and thundering nearby, class will be rescheduled. If weather is really bad and not likely to clear up  for later classes, we will try to send out an e-mail blast as soon as possible.

You know the old saying about Texas weather: "Wait a few minutes and it will change". The decision to cancel is not usually made until just a few minutes before the class.  If you live a long way from the pool, it is best to find a friend who lives in the area and/or check the weather radar just before you leave home.  Click on the "My-Cast" below for local weather and radar.

* J&R does not know about weather cancellations until just before class starts.  Please do not flood them with phone calls unless absolutely necessary.
